The latest LEGO gift-with-purchase continues a trend of making a LEGO Disney display a bit less exclusive, borrowing an aspect of the build.
LEGO Ideas 21352 Magic of Disney can't seem to catch a break as LEGO Disney builds continue to borrow parts of the model and its minifigures in other sets. The recently-revealed 40774 Classic Animation Scenes includes a couple of Disney characters representing iconic animated movies. Woody's minifigure has appeared in a few sets, but Simba's animal element is only otherwise featured in 21352 Magic of Disney.
It's not the first time that aspects of 21352 Magic of Disney have been featured in sets following its 2024 launch. The set includes previously exclusive minifigure appearances of Simba, Lilo, and Belle, all of which have since been featured in other Disney sets.
The leg printing on the Lilo & Belle minifigures between 21352 Magic of Disney and 43263 Beauty and the Beast Castle, as well as 43268 Lilo and Stitch Beach House, have a few minor differences. These sets are still examples of models featuring minifigures of those characters after they first appeared in 21352 Magic of Disney.
There's still some exclusivity in 21352 Magic of Disney through the minifigures of Geppetto and Bruno. The Pinocchio character is unlikely to appear in another LEGO Disney model anytime soon, though the popularity of Encanto means Bruno makes him more likely for a second appearance after the LEGO Ideas debut.
No minifigure-scale Encanto sets are currently confirmed, so for now, Bruno remains exclusive to 21352 Magic of Disney, available for £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99. A release date and threshold for 40774 Classic Animation Scenes have been confirmed at the time of writing. The Lion King fans will at least have another option for grabbing that Simba figure when it is released.
