LEGO Ideas' animal craze would be perfect for woodland project

As the LEGO Ideas third 2024 review continues, the theme's fauna focus is ideal for the latest proposed set recreating various woodland wildlife.

Brickicist's Woodland Wildlife model has managed to reach the coveted 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas, giving it a shot at becoming an official set on shelves in the future. It will first need to impress the LEGO Ideas team once this review round ends, but given LEGO Ideas' track record with natural models, it might stand a good chance.

The proposed creatures in the forest build include a Red deer stag, a Red fox, a European badger, a rabbit, a Tawny owl (Strix aluco), a Red squirrel and a Great Spotted woodpecker. The scale used to depict these creatures isn't too big and that would likely make this build more affordable than other LEGO Ideas sets.

Whether Woodland Wildlife will join the likes of 21301 Birds, 21342 The Insect Collection and 21349 Tuxedo Cat has yet to be determined as the latest review round continues, now spanning 14 total projects.

Natural fauna builds aren't too common on LEGO Ideas but the third 2024 review selection also includes the detailed Betta Splendens and both would be great additions to LEGO Ideas.
