Despite initial announcements that LEGO Ideas 21350 Jaws would launch early for LEGO Insiders worldwide today, that’s not entirely the case.
While the model has released early for members in the UK and Europe, those in the US earlier today were left wondering why the set had not been made available. LEGO Ideas 21350 Jaws is supposed to be out worldwide for LEGO Insiders from August 3 before a wide release on August 6.
At the time of writing, it’s around four hours after its intended launch in the region and the set still hasn’t launched. The notice that the set would receive early access from August 3 is also no longer available, though this could be that the system recognised the date has passed and has automatically removed it.

For now, we’re not certain why 21350 Jaws has yet to launch and whether it might need to be manually approved by an employee later this morning. We’ll keep checking and let you know as soon as LEGO Insiders can enjoy early access to 21350 Jaws in the US.
That’s as long as the early access period has not been cancelled in the US, which seems unlikely given it has launched everywhere else. In the meantime, those in the region hoping to score the set may want to check their local LEGO stores.
Provided this is a tech issue on LEGO.com, it’s unlikely to affect physical LEGO stores which should be selling the set as planned during early access when they open later today. Don’t lose hope of picking up the only LEGO Jaws set just yet.
Otherwise, it should launch as scheduled on August 6 and the 40712 Micro Rocket Launchpad should still be available with purchases of £180 / $200 / €200 until August 7, unless stock runs dry before then.
