LEGO Ideas' upcoming Insects model now has a rumoured release date, piece count and price, ahead of an official reveal.
According to brick_clicker, and shared to Instagram by falconbrickstudios, the Insects project from José María, also known as hachiroku24, could be receiving its official set soon.
The report is that 21342 Insects is coming on September 4 for $79.99 with 1,111 pieces. The original project proposed a brick-built depiction of a Blue Morpho Butterfly, Hercules Beetle, Asian Lady Beetle, Western Honey Bee and Praying Mantis.
Whether all of these will make it into the final model has yet to be seen as there has been no official announcement regarding LEGO Insects since it was approved in the first 2022 review. Take all rumoured information with caution until confirmed by the LEGO Group.
