LEGO Icons sets retiring in 2026: Eiffel Tower, Natural History Museum and more

Seventeen LEGO Icons sets are being shown the door in 2026, and the majority of those are actually retiring this summer – including 10307 Eiffel Tower, 10323 PAC-MAN Arcade and 10338 Bumblebee.

Nine different sets under the LEGO Icons banner are slated to retire by July 31, 2026, and among those are the theme’s biggest set of all time in the 10,001-piece 10307 Eiffel Tower. This Black Friday 2022 release has had a pretty good run all things considered, but if you’ve been on the fence over whether or not to incorporate a five-foot-tall tower into your LEGO display, it’s crunch time.

Also on the way out this summer (among others) are 10327 Dune Atreides Royal Ornithopter, 10331 Kingfisher Bird, 10323 PAC-MAN Arcade and the first two LEGO Transformers sets, 10302 Optimus Prime and 10338 Bumblebee. They’ll be followed by eight more sets in December – at least as things stand right now – including 10335 The Endurance, 10341 NASA Artemis Space Launch System and 10326 Natural History Museum.

While the majority of these retiring LEGO Icons sets are from two or three years ago (or earlier), there are four sets that only hit shelves in 2025 that are currently scheduled to depart in 2026. Two of those – 10359 Fountain Garden and 10362 French Café – are heading out the door in July and feel pretty locked in at this stage, while 10351 Sherlock Holmes: Book Nook and 10363 Leonardo da Vinci’s Flying Machine are due to retire in December, so there’s still a little time for those to shuffle around.

The rest of the LEGO Icons portfolio will hang around into 2027, with 13 sets currently scheduled to stay in production all the way until the end of 2028. Most of those are 2025 and 2026 releases, with the sole exception of 10294 Titanic, which sailed into stores in 2021 and is seemingly a consistently strong seller for the LEGO Group.
