Fresh LEGO Horizon video game rumours suggest imminent reveal

Rumours have been swirling regarding a potential LEGO Horizon video game, with a new source suggesting a reveal may well happen tomorrow.

The possibility of a potential LEGO Horizon video game has been hanging in the air for quite some time now, although evidence of its actual existence has been a little thin on the ground. Previous rumours have suggested that any such title may be called LEGO Horizon Adventures and that the LEGO Group and Sony are actively working on the upcoming game.

Those waiting for confirmation of LEGO Horizon Adventures may well be in luck then, as a new report from Push Square (via Billbil-Kun) suggests that a reveal announcement about the project may be taking place as soon as tomorrow.

According to the source, LEGO Horizon Adventures will be announced at the Summer Game Fest 2024 live event on June 7 for PlayStation 5 and PC platforms. The video game is said to be a single-player action-adventure experience that also includes a co-op mode, with a 2024 release date on the cards.

In addition, both a base version and a deluxe edition of LEGO Horizon Adventures are reported to be on the way, launching on both platforms on the same day. If the announcement does indeed take place at Summer Game Fest 2024 tomorrow, then it’s possible that pre-orders for the title may well go live on the PlayStation Store too.

At this stage there’s been no official word from either the LEGO Group or Sony regarding LEGO Horizon Adventures, nor are there any details as to whether TT Games or another developer has been involved with its creation.

To date there has only been one LEGO model released based on a Horizon video game, although 76989 Horizon Forbidden West: Tallneck is now long-since retired.
