Here’s how LEGO Harry Potter’s Hospital Wing connects to Hogwarts

If you’ve been curious to see how 76463 Hogwarts Castle: Hospital Wing connects to the rest of the LEGO Harry Potter modular collection, here’s your chance.

A total of eight new LEGO Harry Potter sets will be launching on January 1, 2026, a magical line-up that includes 76463 Hogwarts Castle: Hospital Wing, a 907-piece expansion that forms part of the largest brick-built Hogwarts model to date.

While we’ve already seen a handful of official 76463 Hogwarts Castle: Hospital Wing images released, there’s been no sense so far as to how the upcoming set will attach to the rest of the massive Wizarding World modular.

However, that’s all changed thanks to a new video from YouTuber Cheesey Studios, who’s taken a first look at next year's model in advance and revealed exactly where fans will be able to attach the build to their larger Hogwarts Castle collection.

The video takes a deep dive into the various compatible LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle sets that have been released up to this point, showing how they connect up and giving a sense of the colossal scale of the finished build.

76463 Hogwarts Castle: Hospital Wing attaches to the right-hand side of 76454 Hogwarts Castle: The Main Tower, although it’s noted that the upcoming expansion is completely unseen from the exterior in the live-action Harry Potter films and the location is also condensed in the LEGO set.

However, it’s inside 76463 Hogwarts Castle: Hospital Wing where the real magic appears to happen, with a slide-out Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom at the base of the build (complete with mirrored wardrobe sticker), hospital beds on the first floor for sick students and the Ravenclaw Common Room on the top floor.

In addition, the LEGO Harry Potter model includes seven minifigures in the shape of Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Remus Lupin (plus his Wolf Patronus), a Dementor, Penelope Clearwater and The Grey Lady, and two more collectible Hogwarts portraits.

76463 Hogwarts Castle: Hospital Wing will launch on January 1, 2026, priced at £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99 and the LEGO Harry Potter set is available to pre-order right now.
