LEGO Harry Potter designer shares early concept drawing of new set

LEGO Harry Potter designer George Gilliatt has shared some early concept drawings of 76451 Privet Drive: Aunt Marge's Visit to celebrate its release.

Now available to buy for £79.99 / $89.99 / €89.99, the 639-piece LEGO Harry Potter 76451 Privet Drive: Aunt Marge's Visit was designed by LEGO Model Designer George Gilliatt. The LEGO employee has dozens of LEGO sets under his belt, and in this instance has shared some early concept drawings of the set, showing its progression from paper to shelves.

The drawing shows that a lot of the basis of the set was there from the start, from the side built featuring the Privet Drive sign and lamp post to the inflated Aunt Marge bobbing into the sky (a more dignified name than our earlier dubbing as Ball Marge). It's also interesting to see where the team has added more detail, such as putting leaves onto the roof, as well as refining the shrubbery around the edge of the garden.

To get your hands on every detail of the newly-released set that just came out on June 1, you can buy 76451 Privet Drive: Aunt Marge's Visit now for £79.99 / $89.99 / €89.99.
