LEGO Friends: The Next Chapter Season 2 trailer revealed

The first trailer for the second season of LEGO Friends: The Next Chapter has revealed the animated context for many early and summer 2024 sets.

A second season of LEGO Friends: The Next Chapter, the theme's animated series for the soft reboot of the range, is coming soon and now a trailer is online teasing the adventures to come.

The trailer brings back the new cast of characters and will explore Paisley's latest hobby further, providing some context behind the likes of 42616 Heartlake City Music Talent Show and 42619 Pop Star Music Tour Bus.

Later in the trailer, a few shots of space scenes are shown which seem likely to tie into 42602 Space Research Rover and 42605 Mars Space Base and Rocket. In the trailer, the space scenes are revealed to be from a Virtual Reality game, though the sets differ with some returning characters from the first run of LEGO Friends. Still, it's good to see them featured in the animated series without physically taking the new LEGO Friends to space in their second season.

The new camping range is also part of the second season though it is only shown briefly in the trailer. Specifically, the building that has inspired 42626 Adventure Camp Water Sports is visible but we'll likely get context for the rest of the line's sets too.

Many new LEGO Friends summer 2024 sets have just launched, many of which are relevant to the upcoming second season. The trailer does not disclose a release date or window though it's likely coming later this year judging by other animated LEGO series.
