The new LEGO Friends are about to celebrate their first holiday and a special trailer for what may be a holiday special is teasing what's to come.
We're nearing the end of the first year for the fresh cast of LEGO Friends following the theme's soft reboot. That can mean only one thing – a holiday special. That's what the new trailer for the LEGO Friends: The Next Chapter series appears to be teasing. The Perfect Holiday, as included in the trailer's title, is likely the name of this special.
It focuses on a festive celebration for the seniors and features 41748 Heartlake City Community Center, which was recently introduced in the series. However, earlier parts of the trailer include a bus taking the group to a snow-covered climate. Whether this is a holiday special or a festive set of episodes, there seem to be at least two stories to tell.
The chalet looks similar to 41756 Holiday Ski Slope and Café, which is part of a small subtheme of models recently released in LEGO stores and on LEGO.com – also including 41760 Igloo Holiday Adventure. How closely the models match the animated series has yet to be seen, but LEGO Friends: The Next Chapter has been faithful to the new models so far.
While not featured in the trailer, 41758 LEGO Friends Advent Calendar 2023 may be included in The Perfect Holiday but is otherwise available now for £19.99 / $34.99 / €26.99 ahead of the annual countdown. It's one of many LEGO advent calendars available in 2023, including one for Star Wars, Marvel, City and Harry Potter.
