LEGO double points event and retiring sets sale rumoured for October 2025

The next LEGO double points event is rumoured to be right around the corner – and will apparently be preceded by a sale on retiring sets.

BrickTap reports (via Moose.with.a.Goose) that double Insiders points will be available on all sets from October 14 to 20 at LEGO.com and in LEGO Stores. As always, that’s equivalent to 10% cashback in the form of points to spend on future purchases, or to otherwise exchange for physical or digital items in the Insiders Rewards Centre. You’ll need to be signed up to the LEGO Insiders program to qualify.

Before then, the LEGO Group will apparently be running a sale on select retiring sets, with discounts available from October 7 to 13 (or while stocks last). That means it won’t coincide with double points, so you won’t be able to stack both offers. Retiring sets said to be part of the sale include 10332 Medieval Town Square, 75304 Darth Vader Helmet, 10355 Blacktron Renegade and more.

Also not crossing paths with this double points event is Series 6 of the BrickLink Designer Program. While crowdfunding for the last series coincided with a double points event – which saw many backers cancelling their initial orders and re-ordering during the double points window – the shortened timeline for Series 6 pre-orders means there’ll be no crossover this time (if these dates are correct).

Series 6 crowdfunding begins today at 8am PT / 4pm BST and ends on October 13. That condensed pre-order window is a consequence of the program’s ‘real-time production allocation’, which allows the BrickLink team to dynamically adjust limits for each of the five sets depending on how well each one is selling. According to BrickLink Designer Program Lead Alex Kastelic, being that reactive requires a little more planning from the production team – hence the shorter timeframe for crowdfunding.

Nevertheless, everything else at LEGO.com will be up for grabs in this double points event, including the newly-released 75419 Death Star (which will give you an effective return of £90 / $100 / €100). That’s if these rumours prove correct – keep an eye on Brick Fanatics for confirmation as soon as we get it.
