A first look at three LEGO Disney Toy Story sets launching next month has revealed exactly what sneaky secrets can be found hidden within.
A trio of new LEGO Disney sets were revealed this week, with all three models being based on Pixar's Toy Story films. Official listings for the builds note that each of the sets contains its own Easter eggs, but very few details of just what those might be were available at the time.
Now, thanks to a post by Instagram user Kiwi Modulars, we have a first in-hand look at 43301 Toy Story Slinky Dog Bookends, 43306 Lotso and 43307 Alien with Pizza Planet Rocket Ride and can find out exactly what movie moments await within. *Spoilers ahead*
43301 Toy Story Slinky Dog Bookends
Not only does 43301 Toy Story Slinky Dog Bookends take an innovative approach to the first-ever brick-built version of the stretchy canine, but the LEGO Disney set also has quite a few subtle references to be found inside.
First up are 1x1 stud versions of Mr. Potato Head and Mrs. Potato Head in the purple Knick Knack book, alongside a pizza tile that is a nod to the Pizza Planet establishment in the Toy Story movies.
Then there are three 1x1 stud green and blue aliens in the same book, along with a pink, orange and blue Troll, Bo Peep, a number of green army men, Hamm and Buzz Lightyear, plus everyone’s favourite dinosaur, Rex.
43306 Lotso
The listing for 43306 Lotso does mention Easter eggs in the villainous bear’s back, but they can’t be seen in the official images. Fortunately, Kiwi Modulars’ video shows off just what they are and fans of Toy Story 2 will definitely approve of the references to the sequel film.
Removing the back of 43306 Lotso reveals 1x1 stud versions of Jessie and Bullseye, along with Woody and Buzz Lightyear, plus a pink printed strawberry tile, which is a nod to the distinctive smell of the Lots-o’-Huggin’ Bear.
43307 Alien with Pizza Planet Rocket Ride
Rounding out the Toy Story Easter eggs to be found inside the upcoming LEGO Disney sets is 43307 Alien with Pizza Planet Rocket Ride. The model has its own selection of secrets to find, including a tile on the build’s coin dispenser that suggest the villainous Sid has been there.
In addition, the set also has two 1x1 stud aliens hidden in the rocket’s control panel, as well as a stickered tile with ‘A113’ on it, which has appeared in nearly every Pixar film to date and is a reference to the number of the California Institute of the Arts classroom used by its animation students.
43301 Toy Story Slinky Dog Bookends, 43306 Lotso and 43307 Alien with Pizza Planet Rocket Ride will all be released on May 1, 2026, with the LEGO Disney sets now available to pre-order in advance.
