A new hope for stickers?

LEGO Disney Main Street’s best sticker is from a galaxy far, far away

An early look at the sticker sheet for 43302 Main Street, U.S.A. has revealed the LEGO Disney set’s best decal – and it’s from a galaxy far, far away.

Franchises collide in LEGO Disney 43302 Main Street, U.S.A., which features both Star Wars and Marvel-themed torsos for its guest minifigures. That much is obvious from the official images – but thanks to Instagram user knightowlfigs, who spotted employees at his local LEGO Store piecing the model together, we’ve now also got a first look at the set’s best sticker.

Specifically, sticker number 19 replicates the original poster for Star Wars: A New Hope at what looks to be the size of a 2x3 tile. Han, Luke, Leia, Vader and Chewie are recreated as LEGO minifigures, with just enough space (and detail) to cram in C-3PO and R2-D2 too.

It’s that rare sort of sticker that transcends the LEGO set in which it’s included, to the point that you might want to get your hands on 43302 Main Street, U.S.A.’s sticker sheet even if you’re not bothered about the rest of the set. Popping this stickered tile on a billboard in your LEGO city or on the wall of an apartment would make for a pretty neat Easter egg, for example.

You’ll probably have to turn to somewhere like BrickLink once 43302 Main Street, U.S.A. is on shelves to track down the sticker sheet (if that is indeed all you want from this set) as the LEGO Group doesn’t sell its decals individually. On the other hand, if you were already planning on picking up this 3,899-piece set, this element will hopefully sweeten the deal even further.
