A sell-out LEGO Disney GWP results in the inevitable increase in secondhand market prices for at least one market.
LEGO 40600 Disney 100 Years Celebration has already sold out in the United States, just a few short days after it became available. Shoppers are eligible for the Gift with Purchase on any orders of over $100 or more (meaning the newly-released 43222 Disney Castle alone will get you far past the marker), but it seems that American consumers have already snapped up the demand.
At the time of writing, 40600 Disney 100 Years Celebration appears to still be available in other markets around the world, including the UK and Europe. However, the popularity and rapid rarity of the set means that secondhand sellers in America are already adjusting their prices accordingly, with listings for as high as $80 or even $100 appearing on eBay. In the UK, where the GWP is still available via the LEGO Group officially, average prices are as low as £27 on BrickLink by comparison.

It's perhaps no surprise that 40600 Disney 100 Years Celebration is selling out. After all, 2023 has already been a mighty year for LEGO Disney fans, with a new set appearing almost every month. There's plenty to choose from that will easily take you over the £95 / $100 / €100 threshold to get your hands on a fun GWP that we dubbed a must-have when we reviewed it ourselves.
If you're in the US, some physical stores may still have copies, but we'd advise moving fast. This advice truly applies to all markets, as you never know when a GWP might sell out.
