The LEGO Design Student Challenge is now live on Ideas

The teased LEGO Design Student Challenge is now underway on LEGO Ideas, revealing a huge prize package and an internship.

The LEGO Group is looking for the next generation of designers via a new LEGO Ideas challenge, which is only open to a select group. Any students over 18 years old currently enrolled in a design-related education program are welcome to take part in the LEGO Design Student Challenge.

You have until March 18 to get your entries together. These entries are required to interpret contemporary culture and translate it into playful, expressive, or exploratory ideas through the lens of LEGO. This contest is being done through LEGO Ideas due to how creative the community have proven to be so that they can provide useful feedback. This is even though not every user will be able to take part.

There will be five grand prize winners in this challenge, each taking home a copy of 21323 Grand Piano, 21333 Vincent van Gogh - The Starry Night and the new 21376 Orange Cat. You might also be invited to take part in the LEGO Internship program. Those winners will be announced on May 29.

The LEGO Internship program sees participants spend 4 months being mentored by the LEGO Building Experience Design Team in Billund. You can find out more about the program by clicking here.

Other contests currently live on LEGO Ideas include one for space and another for Yu-Gi-Oh!, both of which are open to all users.
