LEGO deals of the week: A trio of incredible Disney savings

The latest round of weekly LEGO deals includes a trio of savings for Disney enthusiasts, as well as a great gateway into LEGO Super Mario.

We're almost done with September, but here's hoping you've got some LEGO budget left for this week's amazing offers. It's a great time to be a fan of LEGO and Disney, with three incredible deals on some of the best LEGO Disney sets currently available.

21357 Disney Pixar Luxo Jr. starts the savings with a £15 discount on the £59.99 model at Amazon. The LEGO Ideas Pixar build hasn't been discounted much since its release, and few of the savings have been quite this big. The Maui bigfig also returned earlier this year in the most enticing LEGO Moana 2 set, but 43258 Kakamora Barge's base cost of £89.99 is quite high compared to the contents.

Thankfully, Amazon has also discounted 43258 Kakamora Barge down to £64.99, which is much more reasonable for the many Kakamora figures, their ship and that Maui bigfig. Rounding out the Disney deals is a 28% discount on 43268 Lilo and Stitch Beach House at Amazon, with its own exclusive figures to collect.

Switching from Disney's animated movies to another section of the company, Amazon also has a deal on 76327 Iron Man MK4 Bust, dropping the recreation of the iconic Marvel character down to £39.99 from £54.99. Marvel enthusiasts can also find 76291 Avengers Assemble: Age of Ultron for £28 off at Zavvi, offering a superhero display model perfect for a desk.

You shouldn't ignore Amazon's 44% discount on 72037 Interactive LEGO Mario & Standard Kart, nearly slashing the price of the Mario Kart starter set in half. The set includes the electronic Mario figure, the standard kart and several accessories for £24.99 instead of £44.99. For those who have yet to dive into LEGO Super Mario, it's hard not to at this price.
