LEGO DC fans could be getting the Arkham Asylum set they've been asking for, judging from some early rumoured details.
Fresh rumours reported Clay Brick on Instagram, via a new source Boo-urns but corroborated by consistently reliable source Brick Clicker, suggest that the summer of 2025 will see a pricey $400 direct-to-consumer set, 76300 Arkham Asylum. The iconic Batman location, used to house Gotham's most untamed villains and criminals, has already been rendered in LEGO once but, if the price is anything to go by, not at this scale.
2017's 70912 Arkham Asylum was based on the version of the asylum seen in the LEGO Batman Movie and retired at the end of the following year. Priced at £139.99 / $149.99 / €149.99 for 1,628 pieces, a $400 would presumably include a lot more detail than this previous build.

Of course, with no other rumoured details to go off other than the price, it's hard to speculate on exactly what could be on the way. Indeed, within the LEGO DC theme, expensive sets don't always hit the mark. 76252 Batcave – Shadow Box, set to retire this year, was also priced at $399.99 and didn't match up to Batman fans expectations, with many complaining that the majority of the pieces went on the black box, rather than the cave itself.
Take this rumour with an even heavier pinch of salt than usual rumours, however, considering this is a new rumour source. However, it's been corroborated by some usually reliable sources, so here's hoping 76300 Arkham Asylum is indeed on the way – and lives up to expectations.
