LEGO City Formula 1 set missing from 2025 starting line-up

Next month’s line-up of LEGO City Formula 1 sets is currently missing one more model, with no listing for the elusive racing build so far.

Multiple LEGO Formula 1 sets will be racing into view on January 1, 2025, covering multiple themes such as City, DUPLO, Speed Champions, Technic and even its own dedicated mini collectible series.

While it may seem that every single LEGO set launching on that date has now been listed on the official online store, one final Formula 1 model has yet to appear. 60474 F1 Grid with VCARB & Sauber Race Cars was one of six LEGO City sets revealed last month, with the 313-piece build to be priced at £24.99 / $29.99 / €29.99.

As far as we currently know, 60474 F1 Grid with VCARB & Sauber Race Cars is still due to be released on January 1, 2025 alongside the rest of the LEGO City Formula 1 line-up, but its lack of a listing so far is slightly surprising.

However, 60474 F1 Grid with VCARB & Sauber Race Cars has already popped up on US retailer Target’s website, with a release date now showing as March 1, 2025, which could possibly suggest the LEGO City set will be arriving slightly later than expected.

The listing also adds more details regarding 60474 F1 Grid with VCARB & Sauber Race Cars, with the model to include both brick-built Formula 1 cars, minifigures of two drivers and a marshal, plus a light gantry with sliding panel for realistic grid-start action and a winner’s trophy.

Each vehicle in 60474 F1 Grid with VCARB & Sauber Race Cars measures over 3cm high, 14cm long and 5c wide, with what look to be printed team logos and eye-catching colour schemes.
