LEGO is calling time on one of the best Creator 3-in-1 sets ahead of schedule

The clock is ticking on one of the best Creator 3-in-1 sets around right now, as the LEGO Group has pulled forward the retirement of 31154 Forest Animals: Red Fox.

Currently occupying a coveted slot in Brick Fanatics’ Top 20 LEGO sets list, the 2024 release is easily among the best Creator 3-in-1 animal builds available at the moment, and that in itself is no mean feat given the competition. But for reasons known only to the LEGO Group, it’s now leaving shelves by the end of 2025 rather than (as previously scheduled) the end of 2026.

You’ve got less than a year to add this fox, squirrel and owl combo to your collection as a result – and the same is true of five other 3-in-1 sets originally slated to retire in July 2026, but which will now leave production by December 2025. In the mix there are 31137 Adorable Dogs, 31153 Modern House and 31156 Tropical Ukulele. It brings the total number of LEGO Creator sets retiring in 2025 to 15.

One of those is due to depart by July, so if there’s any to prioritise right now it’s 31139 Cosy House. You’ve got a little more time to buy 40468 Yellow Taxi, 40518 High-Speed Train, 40519 New York Postcard and 40569 London Postcard, however, as all four of those sets have moved from a 2025 retirement to 2026.
