Crowdfunding for Series 6 of the BrickLink Designer Program starts today, so here’s everything you need to know about the latest drop of limited-run LEGO sets.
The LEGO Group has made a couple of changes to the way crowdfunding works for Series 6 of the BrickLink Designer Program, so whether you’re a veteran backer or are brand new to the program, there are things laid out here that are worth knowing. In short: five new and exclusive LEGO sets will be available to pre-order for a very limited time later today (October 6), and this is your one and only chance to absolutely guarantee your copies.
Scroll down to find out how and when to pre-order, how the five sets have been received in early reviews, the changes BrickLink is implementing this time round, and much more.
What is the BrickLink Designer Program?
The BrickLink Designer Program is a crowdsourced and crowdfunded initiative that allows fans to design their own sets, which are then produced and sold by the LEGO Group. Following a submission intake period, the community votes for their favourite designs, and five are then selected for crowdfunding. These are available to pre-order in limited quantities (see below for specifics, as the numbers are no longer quite so crystal-clear) and for a limited time only during the crowdfunding window.
Which sets are in Series 6 of the BrickLink Designer Program?
The five sets available to crowdfund in Series 6 span classic LEGO themes including Castle and Western, along with original concepts that take in the great outdoors and a building that feels very much modular-adjacent. You can check them all out in the table below, along with their prices in the UK, US and Europe.

How do I pre-order BrickLink Designer Program sets?
To pre-order your desired BrickLink Designer Program sets, simply click through to their respective pages on BrickLink's website, where you'll find a button to purchase each one. You'll then be taken through to LEGO.com to complete your purchase using your normal account details. This means pre-orders will also qualify for LEGO Insiders points.
When does Series 6 crowdfunding begin and end?
Crowdfunding for Series 6 of the BrickLink Designer Program begins at 8am PT / 4pm BST on October 6. The pre-order window is much shorter than usual this time round, and will close on October 13 at 12pm PT / 8pm BST. While the most popular sets have historically sold out in a matter of hours, however, there’s a good chance that all five will be available for the full seven-day window in Series 6 thanks to recent changes to production allocation. Which brings us to…
How many copies of each Series 6 set will be available?

For the first four series of the BrickLink Designer Program, up to 30,000 copies of each set were available to pre-order, with a minimum of 3,000 backers required to enter production (so far, no set has failed to reach this target). For Series 5, the LEGO Group tested out dynamically adjusting the numbers available, reducing the limit for less popular sets and allocating their production capacity to the hottest sellers.
The end result was that all five Series 5 sets, including the very popular Adventure in Transylvania, were available to order throughout the entire crowdfunding period. BrickLink Designer Program Lead Alex Kastelic says this will be the approach used for all future series, including Series 6, to give everyone the best chance of securing their desired sets.
What this means in practice is that each Series 6 (and beyond) set still has the potential to sell 30,000 copies, but the LEGO Group has the option to push limits for individual sets up to 40,000 or even 50,000 copies depending on how well others sell. The total number of 150,000 units across all five sets is still a hard limit, however: so if all sets sell equally well, the 30,000 cap will likely remain in place.
BrickLink Designer Program Series 6 reviews
Early reviews of all five Series 6 sets are already out, and on the whole it looks like this might just be one of the best line-ups to date – at least if you’re interested in the particular subject matter on offer here, of course. We’ve rounded up reviews from across the web for your perusal below…

Can I get double points on Series 6 sets?
While Series 5’s crowdfunding window coincided with a double points event (and pre-orders were indeed eligible), rumours suggest that the next double points promo won’t start until October 14 – the day after pre-orders for Series 6 close. That means there likely won’t be any opportunity to secure double points on Series 6 sets.
Do BrickLink Designer Program sets qualify for gifts-with-purchase?
Like all pre-orders at LEGO.com, BrickLink Designer Program sets do not qualify for gifts-with-purchase. You’ll still earn regular LEGO Insiders points, however, equivalent to 5% cashback to spend on future orders. These will be added to your account when your order ships.
When will my Series 6 pre-orders arrive?
BrickLink Designer Program Serires 6 sets are expected to start shipping in March 2026. You won’t be charged until sets are ready to ship out.
Will Series 6 sets ever be available again?
Good question, glad you asked: yes, technically speaking, they probably will be available again somewhere down the line. But your chances of securing them are slim at best, as these will be excess copies available once all pre-orders have been successfully fulfilled, accounting for lost shipments, cancelled orders and so on. As with earlier series, they'll be sold through LEGO.com on a first-come, first-served basis at a time and date yet to be determined.
That all adds up to a big roll of the dice, so your best bet is still placing your order during this initial crowdfunding window to guarantee yours.
