LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 4 Mini-Build contest now live

A new LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Mini-Build contest is now open, giving fans the chance to create small models based on the Series 4 sets.

The final designs and full pricing for the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 4 sets were recently revealed, with five models lined up for crowdfunding from February 4, 2025, at 8:00am PST.

In addition to the fan-made creations, BrickLink has also announced details of a mini-build contest to support Series 4. The competition kicked off last week and runs until January 27 at 12pm PST, meaning would-be LEGO designers have just over two weeks to get their submissions in.

The contest is looking for miniature masterpieces based on the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 4 finalists' sets, up to a maximum total of 300 pieces. Design requirements for the mini-build competition state that models must have two dimensions (length x width x height) that should be eight studs/bricks or less, with slight overhangs permitted.

Winners will be announced on February 3, with all participating designs getting to display a LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 4 Mini-Build badge. Five lucky submitters will each receive a copy of the BDP Series 4 set that they’ve based their creation on, with models shipping at launch sometime in July 2025.
