The LEGO Group has confirmed almost everything we can expect from this year’s main LEGO Black Friday and Cyber Monday event, from gifts-with-purchase to Insiders discount vouchers.
LEGO Insiders Weekend is over for another year, but no worries if you missed out or nothing took your fancy: there’s still another major shopping event to come in 2024, a four-day weekend of Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales, freebies and rewards. The LEGO Black Friday landing page now features almost a complete rundown of everything coming our way this year.
Check out all the details below. The LEGO Black Friday event runs from November 29 to December 2, with new deals dropping on the final day for Cyber Monday.
LEGO Black Friday 2024 10335 The Endurance
This year’s LEGO Black Friday launch is 10335 The Endurance, a LEGO Icons recreation of the iconic vessel that Sir Ernest Shackleton sailed to the Antarctic. It’s an inspiring story and one totally deserving of a LEGO set, not least this LEGO set, as you can read more about in our review. Early adopters will receive 40729 Shackleton’s Lifeboat for free through Cyber Monday (December 2) or while stocks last.
LEGO Black Friday 2024 gifts-with-purchase
Alongside 40729 Shackleton’s Lifeboat, which is free with all copies of 10335 The Endurance from November 29 to December 2 (or while stocks last), the LEGO Insiders Weekend freebies will be returning for Black Friday this year. 40699 Retro Record Player will be free with all orders above £225 / $250 / €250, while 40700 Winter Holiday Train will be free with all orders above £155 / $170 / €170.
LEGO Cyber Monday 2024 gifts-with-purchase
If you’re happy to hold out until Cyber Monday, you can score an extra free gift with your Black Friday purchase. You do run the risk of sets or free gifts selling out in the meantime, so it’s up to you whether to roll the dice (or perhaps make a second order on Cyber Monday), but if you do you’ll get 30670 Santa’s Sleigh Ride when spending at least £35 / $40 / €40 in a LEGO Store, or 30658 Mobile Music Trailer and 30679 Venom Street Bike when spending at least £45 / $50 / €50 at LEGO.com.
LEGO Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2024 discounts
A handful of the LEGO Insiders Weekend discounts are still available through December 2 (although others have already sold out), but it sounds like the LEGO Group has fresh discounts in the offing for Black Friday. A banner on the landing page – distinct from the Insiders discounts section – suggests you’ll be able to ‘save on selected sets’ during Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Watch this space…
LEGO Black Friday 2024 rewards
Two new sets will be available exclusively in the LEGO Insiders Rewards Centre for Black Friday 2024. 6550802 Chronometer and 6533581 Tic Tac Toe (with its army of orange and white Classic Space astronauts) will cost 2,400 points each – perfect for spending all those double points you racked up during LEGO Insiders Weekend…
LEGO Black Friday 2024 Insiders discount vouchers
The LEGO Group will apparently be offering 75% off £5 discount vouchers in the Insiders Rewards Centre, so (for example) a £5 discount will cost just 200 rather than 800 points in the UK. It’s not yet clear whether you’ll be able to claim that offer multiple times if you’ve racked up a bunch of points, but previous years have allowed members to use discounted vouchers up to four times, so fingers crossed that happens again in 2024.
