A new trailer for the upcoming LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight video game reveals how Gotham City’s thugs can stay on top of their criminal toes.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight finally launches in a few months’ time, packing 70-plus years of Caped Crusader content into one TT Games title. In the build-up to its launch, a new trailer for the video game has dropped, one that aims to give Gotham City’s underworld some essential survival tips.
Pitched as ‘Henchperson Orientation,’ the fresh footage provides hints and advice to wannabe lowlifes, everything from dressing for success in the right villainous outfits, buddying up with a bigfig brute for extra protection and how to beware the Bat in order to survive.
The latest LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight trailer also delivers a sneak peek at multiple new minifigure designs for NPCs (Notorious Professional Criminals) to be found in the upcoming game, enemy costumes that mimic such villains as Mr. Freeze and the Penguin, as well as a first glimpse at a recreation of The Joker’s parade from the classic Batman ’89 movie.
In addition, there are plenty of hard-hitting fight sequences to watch, demonstrating the moves and attacks available when mastering LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight's extensive combat system.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on May 29, 2026, with early adopters of the Deluxe Edition able to access the game a whole three days earlier.
