Another LEGO Batman Technic set is rumoured for later this year, claimed to be our second Batmobile build, based on the Dark Knight trilogy.
The more reliable Instagram user lego_minecraft_goat has backed up a new listing on brickmerge, stating that 42239 The iconic Batmobile from the Christopher Nolan movies is launching in July as an 18+ creation under the Technic line.
This would be the third crossover between DC and Technic after 42127 The Batman – Batmobile from 2022 and 42155 The Batman – Batcycle in 2023, both of which were based on The Batman films.
Now, it’s claimed that the Batmobile from the Christopher Nolan movie trilogy, nicknamed the Tumbler, will be released as a LEGO Technic set this summer. No piece count or other details are rumoured at the time of writing. The LEGO Group is all too familiar with this Batmobile, depicted as minifigure-scale models, polybag builds and huge 18+ sets in the past.
The size of the stated 2026 set is unknown, as LEGO Technic covers a wide range of sizes and scales. For now, we’re waiting for any further details with a pinch of salt, just in case any part of this rumour turns out to be false.
