LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight's release date has been modified, as the new video game will be arriving a bit earlier than expected.
Following a Riddler-based campaign of puzzles and cyphers on social media the past few days, the TT Games team have confirmed that the release date of LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight has been moved up by one week.
Instead of releasing on May 29 as previously planned, you can now start playing the next LEGO game on May 22, 2026. The pre-order page for the title on the website has been updated accordingly, and it still states that Deluxe Edition owners will receive three days of early access.
The additional incentive for the Deluxe Edition was previously going to let players experience the title from May 26, but now you can expect to get started on May 19. This is on top of bonus content, including playable Joker and Harley, at launch and later this year. Note that pre-orders of the Deluxe Edition are still discounted by nearly 25% at select retailers.
Retailers such as Amazon have not yet updated their listings to reflect this new release date, but check back over the next few days as they log this information into their system. You can also find four LEGO Batman sets with codes to unlock content in-game on shelves now.
