Players who purchase their copies of LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight on the Epic Games Store can snag themselves some bonus Fortnite items.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will finally be unleashed in just a few days' time and is the first TT Games title to be released in over four years. To further entice players into purchasing the upcoming interactive experience, the Epic Games Store has revealed a couple of all-new bonus incentives.
Those who purchase a copy of LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight on the platform will receive two extra digital items that can then be used in Fortnite. Both the Golden Batarang Knucks Pickaxe and Bricks and Batarangs loading screen will be available right away as in-game GWPs that you’ll get to keep indefinitely.
The LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Fortnite items can be obtained with all pre-orders for the upcoming title and standard purchases made after May 22, as long as you're logged in to the same Epic account when playing both games.
The only real downside to the offer is that you won’t be able to use the Golden Batarang Knucks Pickaxe and Bricks and Batarangs loading screen in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight itself, but that’s just a minor niggle.
The Epic Games Store incentive follows hot on the heels of a number of exclusive digital items that will be available by watching specific Twitch streams over the coming weeks, with multiple Batcave Props up for grabs as rewards.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on May 22. Those purchase the Deluxe Edition will be able to gain access to the game a full three days earlier on May 19.
