The LEGO Group has unveiled the next Gardens of the World set, and with it, a number of recolours and a new part.
11372 Autumn Cottage Garden brings rustic autumnal charm to the Gardens of the World series, complete with enough trees and plants to flesh out the blooming garden. That includes a tree with an interesting new part: drooping leaves in what looks like medium orange.
The new element is a pretty unique mould, geared clearly more towards botanical builds. It marks something of a change for the LEGO designers, with past trees leaning more towards layering parts to build leaves, rather than one moulded part.

It echoes comments made from Botanical designers that they are starting to request new parts for the theme themselves. While 11372 Autumn Cottage Garden isn't, of course, a Botanicals set, you can imagine that these leaves would be useful in future Botanicals sets. Whether it speaks to the growing popularity of brick-built flowers or is simply a logical next step for the LEGO system, it does change the overall look of 11372 Autumn Cottage Garden.
Put next to the large flat leaves pictured to the right of the drooping leaves above, the trees are largely made up of moulded elements, rather than brick-built. The effect looks good, but does it move away from the spirit of LEGO building (aka using existing parts in creative ways)?
That's not to say there are no creative building techniques included in the set. The roof of the house adds some extra depth, which also lifts away to reveal brick-built details within. Still, this large new element might fuel the critical fires among fans, ones already stirred by the LEGO Group's first 3D-printed element, for example.
11372 Autumn Cottage Garden will launch for £99.99 in the UK, $119.99 in the US, and from €109.99 in Europe on January 1, 2026.
