Artistic submissions are having their day on LEGO Ideas this week, with another painting recreation reaching 10,000 supporters.
The first 2026 LEGO Ideas review has grown yet again, now gaining QYOUK's The Scream by Edvard Munch. This follows a recreation of Claude Monet's Water Lilies reaching the same round just yesterday. The model uses approximately 1,500 pieces and measures around 92cm tall and 71cm wide.
The painting has been replicated in LEGO using mostly straight tiles to capture the brush strokes of the original artwork, similar to the techniques used in 31213 Mona Lisa. The frame is lighter in detail in the project compared to the official model, and is one area in which the LEGO Ideas team can improve the fan design.
Otherwise, it's a well-made recreation of the painting and something which the LEGO Group has yet to represent in the official product portfolio. It now joins the first 2026 review and will be considered for a future LEGO Ideas set. It's up against 18 other submissions at the time of writing.
