The LEGO Art theme will seemingly keep things affordable for budding home decorators in 2024, with just one relatively cheap set listed for release next year.
LEGO Art is maybe not what you’d call the most prolific theme in the LEGO Group’s arsenal, with only a handful of sets arriving on shelves each year since 2020. Only three have debuted in 2023 – the fewest in a single calendar year so far – with 31208 Hokusai – The Great Wave, 31209 The Amazing Spider-Man and 31210 Modern Art. Of those, only the latter has come in under £50 / $50 / €50.
Next year’s one and only LEGO Art set (so far), though, will apparently emulate that set by retailing for just €49.99 – at least according to a new listing on price comparison site brickmerge.de, which claims 31211 will include a total of 644 pieces. Its price tag sits in stark contrast to January 2023’s LEGO Art set 31208 Hokusai – The Great Wave, which retails for £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99.

31211’s piece count, meanwhile, totals 161 fewer elements than the equivalently-priced 31210 Modern Art. That suggests we’re not looking at a traditional mosaic, where the price-per-piece ratio would be heavily skewed – 2022’s 31207 Floral Art mosaic, for example, includes 2,870 pieces for just €69.99. What exactly it could be is less certain at this point, because the theme has delivered surprise after surprise for the past 12 months, continually pushing the boundaries of previous sets.
While only one new LEGO Art 2024 set is listed on brickmerge.de, that tracks with the theme’s 2023 release pattern, so don’t expect it to be the only model from the range next year. More will presumably follow later in the year. For now, check out all the details on this first set – as yet unconfirmed by the LEGO Group – in the table below.
