LEGO 40955 Maersk Dual-Fuel Container Vessel has been officially revealed ahead of its launch next month.
The LEGO Group has revealed 40955 Maersk Dual-Fuel Container Vessel, a 1,516-piece recreation of the Ane Maersk. Priced at £139.99 in the UK, $149.99 in the US, and €149.99 in Europe, the Maersk LEGO set will be available to buy from March 1.
The Ane Maersk took to the seas in 2024 as the world’s first large green methanol-enabled vessel. Its rotation connects Asia and Europe, starting in Hamburg and covering several ports in Europe, the Mediterranean and the Gulf countries before sailing to Dubai and then on to ports in China. The limited-edition 40955 Maersk Dual-Fuel Container Vessel features various authentic details from the original vessel, including an opening bridge with crew quarters, transparent engine-room windows, slide-out gangways, and buildable containers.
To celebrate the launch of 40955 Maersk Dual-Fuel Container Vessel, the LEGO Minifigure Factory is introducing a special captain torso design, available online and in select LEGO Stores. Considering the set itself doesn't include a minifigure, this is a way to include a fitting character in your display if you so choose.
