First look at LEGO 40692 Sweet Shop gift-with-purchase

The third in a series of collectible microscale LEGO models has now been revealed, thanks to a first look at the upcoming 40692 Sweet Shop GWP.

We reported earlier today that 40692 Sweet Shop was now listed as an upcoming gift-with-purchase on the official LEGO Building Instructions page. However, only the name of the promotional set was included, with no images or additional details available at the time.

Now, hot on the heels of that previous story comes our first look at 40692 Sweet Shop, the third in a new series of collectible microscale models for 2024. Brickset has posted an initial image of the GWP set, which looks to continue the existing line-up of two-storey mini-modular buildings.

Following in the footsteps of both 40680 Flower Store and 40684 Fruit Store, the upcoming GWP is certainly the most colourful of the three small models to date. 40692 Sweet Shop boasts various bold pink, blue and yellow elements, with a selection of swirling lollipop signage and a large red bowtie on the roof.

Nestled between the awnings on the ground floor of 40692 Sweet Shop can also be seen what appears to be a stickered ‘Candyshop’ sign. That certainly makes a lot of sense, as it would line up with the US name for the GWP being 40692 Candy Store. The modular building should also sit well nestled next to the previous two models in the microscale series, with a fourth set still yet to be revealed.

Unfortunately there are no images of the interior or box for 40692 Sweet Shop at this stage, so there’s no way of knowing what sugary brick-built treats may be waiting inside. With the first look at the upcoming LEGO GWP now out in the wild, we suspect it won’t be long before we have full details of the promotional set, including offer dates, piece count and spending threshold.
