LEGO Art 31218 Japanese Cherry Blossom Landscape revealed

LEGO Art’s latest three-dimensional painting travels to the land of the rising sun with 31218 Japanese Cherry Blossom Landscape, which arrives on shelves in January 2026.

Inspired by springtime in Japan, 31218 Japanese Cherry Blossom Landscape incorporates a variety of symbols and icons associated with the country and its culture, including Mount Fuji, cherry blossom, a teahouse, ‘Sango-Kaku' maple and Japanese umbrella pine trees, and a waterfall that spills out of the surrounding square black frame.

It’s also closer in scope and size to 31208 Hokusai – The Great Wave than 31215 Vincent van Gogh – Sunflowers (two of LEGO Art’s previous relief artworks), which means it will be relatively affordable when it debuts next year. With 1,892 pieces in the box, 31218 Japanese Cherry Blossom Landscape will retail for £99.99 in the UK, $139.99 in the US and €119.99 in Europe.

There are two different display options, so you can pop it on your wall or stand it on a flat surface, and the waterfall can be modified to pour in different directions depending on which you choose. Peer at the various shades of pink that make up the sky in 31218 Japanese Cherry Blossom Landscape and you’ll also spot what appears to be a new LEGO colour for 2026, filling in a shade between light pink and tan.
