Jet off to one of Japan's most famous sites with the latest LEGO Architecture set, now available to buy worldwide.
Japan's largest castle has been shrunk down to a detailed, brick-built replica. The 2,125-piece LEGO Architecture 21060 Himeji Castle is made up of striking grey and white levels, just like the real castle, surrounded by pink and green trees – and available to buy now worldwide.
As a World Heritage Site, the iconic castle, located in the Hy?go Prefecture of Japan, is made out of a combination of wood and white plaster. That translates smoothly into the LEGO build, made mostly from grey, white, and sand-coloured elements. First built back in 1333, Himeji Castle a long-standing example of traditional Japanese architecture and has been the subject of several faithful restorations.
Each turret and walkway is an example of traditional Japanese architecture, faithfully recreated down to simplified versions of the interior that can be accessed even after the building is finished by lifting off the roof.
The final model is 32cm wide, making it an ideal size to display on a desk or shelf, especially for those who love Japanese culture. LEGO Architecture 21060 Himeji Castle is available to buy now in the UK and Europe for £139.99 / $159.99 / €159.99, both online at LEGO.com and at physical LEGO stores.
