LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight has only been out for just over a day, but players have already discovered a way to farm for unlimited studs in the game.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight’s Deluxe Edition dropped yesterday, giving some players early access to the highly-anticipated TT Games title. While everyone else will have to wait until May 22 to pick up the Standard Edition, those already exploring Gotham City’s open-world have discovered a way to maximise their in-game currency.
It turns out there is a method for farming an unlimited number of shiny studs, as long as you know this handy trick in advance. First, from the main menu, select Extras and then go down to the option that allows you to open a LEGO Group Online Survey.
A QR code will be displayed, which can be scanned on a mobile device, with a link that takes you to the quick survey. The reward for completing that is an eight-digit code that can be entered on the Redeem Code section of the Extras menu.
Once that’s done, you’ll receive a fun bouncy castle prop to place in your Batcave and the all-important Stud Cache. This can be found in the garage section of your underground lair and can be opened to unleash a deluge of sparkling studs.
What’s more, the Stud Cache replenishes every time you visit the Batcave, allowing you to boost your total over and again. In addition, unlocking and activating the Hyper Combo, Stud Magnet, Stud Magnet 2, Hyper Combo 2, Stud Combo Duration and Speedy Stud Combo skills at the same time can boost that number to 30,000 studs each time you open the cache.
Studs can be spent at Bat-Mite stores for suits, Batcave props and more items, which is made much easier if you're cash-rich in the game.
The Standard Edition of LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on May 22 and can be wishlisted on Switch 2 for release later in 2026.
