A third LEGO Gravity Falls project has cracked the Ideas review stage hot on the heels of two others, as demand for a set based on the animated series ramps up.
Cementing the show’s status as one of the most heavily-requested LEGO Ideas sets around right now, Gravity Falls now has two projects in the third 2024 review and one in the second 2024 review. BrickLumberjack618’s Gravity Falls Mystery Shack, mad.bricks’ Gravity Falls – The Mystery Shack and Minibrick Productions’ Gravity Falls: The Mystery Shack have all reached the review stage within a single two-month period.
The latest entry to rack up 10,000 votes is easily the biggest and most detailed of the lot, and gives the LEGO Group another consideration if it’s prepared to answer the demand for LEGO Gravity Falls: should it tackle the series on a smaller scale at a cheaper price point with mad.bricks’ or Minibrick Productions’ designs, or shoot for the stars with BrickLumberjack618’s build?
Either way, it feels like there’s a pretty safe route for the LEGO Ideas review board to take here if it does want to greenlight one of the three projects. If it’s happy to proceed with a smaller set, it can give the thumbs up to Minibrick Productions in the second 2024 review. If it would rather deliver something on the scale of
The loser in both those scenarios is unfortunately mad.bricks’ design, which comes in at a similar scale to Minibrick Productions’ model but one review stage later. Of course, there are no guarantees that the LEGO Group will say yes to a Gravity Falls set at all, as there are plenty of other factors that come into play.
