UK retailer Smyths has free LEGO Harry Potter, Animal Crossing, and Friends mini-builds for visitors to build and take away with them for one weekend in April.
Make & Take events tend to be a fun weekend activity for younger builders, but this trio of possible mini-builds appears to be geared more towards fans of all ages. Each one is a miniature version of a full-size set, so if you're in the market for any of those themes but don't want to splash out on the larger build, these free in-store gifts are a solid substitute – or even if you just want a mini to display next to its larger sibling.
For LEGO Animal Crossing, you can pick up a miniature version of 77049 Isabelle's House Visit, recognisable thanks to its dark orange tile roof and red door. For Friends, it's a tiny version of 42614 Vintage Fashion Store and for LEGO Harry Potter, a mini build of recent release 76428 Hagrid's Hut: An Unexpected Visit.
You'll be able to pick up your free LEGO mini-build on Saturday April 13 only from 9am, but be warned that they're handed out on a first-come, first-served basis, with one build per child and no purchase necessary. If you're set on grabbing a build, best to get there early on. Smyths stores across the UK are taking part and you can find a retail location near you here.
