Five more LEGO Star Wars Midi-scale models we want in 2024

Five more LEGO Star Wars Midi-scale models we want in 2024

Following an early reveal of one such LEGO Star Wars set for 2024, here are five more Midi-scale models we want to see launch from 2024 onward.

Thanks to a Dutch retailer, we got our first look earlier today at listings for multiple LEGO sets that may be arriving in the first quarter of 2024. Themes featured include Icons, DREAMZzz, City, Art, Harry Potter, Technic and Star Wars, with the latter boasting at least 16 possible sets on the way in the first few months of next year.

One such LEGO Star Wars build listed is 75376 Midi-scale Tantive IV, although at this stage we know nothing about the model beyond its potential product number and name. If the listing does indeed become a reality in 2024, we could be looking at a whole new subtheme of such builds from a galaxy far, far away, sets that that follow in the footsteps of 75356 Executor Super Star Destroyer.

That particular model isn’t the first of its kind either, with the similarly-sized 8099 Midi-scale Imperial Star Destroyer having launched in 2010. With that in mind, here are five more Midi-scale LEGO Star Wars sets we want to see released in 2024 and beyond, in addition to 75376 Midi-scale Tantive IV:

5 – Mon Calamari Star Cruiser

With so many Star Wars ships having already been recreated in LEGO form, why not one that has never appeared? While a Mon Calamari Star Cruiser would certainly be a lesser-known vessel to be transformed into a brick-built version, the lumpy bumpiness of the cruiser would at least make for something slightly visually different.

4 – Nebulon-B Frigate

LEGO Star Wars fans have only ever received one iteration of the unique Rebel medical ship to date and that was 77904 Nebulon-B Frigate, released as a San Diego Comic-Con 2020 exclusive. An updated version of the craft certainly feels like it might have potential, with wider availability and affordability also being plus points in the ship’s favour.

3 – Imperial Star Destroyer

As the 423-piece 8099 Midi-scale Imperial Star Destroyer arrived way back in 2010, we reckon enough time has definitely passed for a new version of the iconic ship to be released as part of this possible subtheme. Such a set could also act as semi-companion piece to 75356 Executor Super Star Destroyer, despite the obvious size differences between the two vessels.

2 – Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser

Yes, yes, we know that 75367 Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser hasn’t even hit store shelves yet, but we want a Midi-scale version too! If the LEGO Star Wars team was to ever consider creating something that wasn’t just a shrunken build of its much-larger UCS cousin, then an all-grey variant model would do us just fine.

1 – Millennium Falcon

Our very own Matthew has already talked about his own speculative LEGO Star Wars 2024 predictions right here and he also thinks a Midi-scale Millennium Falcon is a bit of a no-brainer. The Corellian freighter has appeared in a variety of sizes over the years and previous rumours already suggest that 75375 Millennium Falcon might be on the way in the coming months, with its product numbering possibly hinting at yet another Midi-scale build.
