LEGO Disney 43230 Walt Disney Tribute Camera is filled with references, especially on the unique film reel with movies dating back to 1931.
Launching on September 1 for £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99,
We've spotted quite a few films referenced in the set, including on the film reel and elsewhere in the set. Here's a look at everything we've found and seemingly every film Easter egg in the model unless there's a small secret hidden somewhere.
1920 – 1939
Starting things off, Steamboat Willie and Snow White represent the earliest portion of Disney's History with the multiplane camera set-up used to make The Old Mill short featured as a side build. Thanks to 43222 Disney Castle, the presented minifigures all exist in available sets. Steamboat Willie is also referenced through an animator's desk hidden inside the camera model.
1940 – 1949
Representing 1940 to 1949 are Pinnochio, Fantasia, Dumbo and Bambi. While the first two are only included on the film reel, Dumbo and Bambi are featured as exclusive figures in
1950 – 1959
Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland and Sleeping Beauty have been picked to represent the decade starting in 1950. This is the first sign of a LEGO Fairy Godmother minifigure, but she's had a couple of mini-dolls before.
1960 – 1969
1960 to 1969 is an interesting decade of references in
1970 – 1979
Robin Hood and The Rescuers have been picked for the 1970s with the latter never being seen in LEGO before, compared to Robin Hood in
1980 – 1989

The 1980s are only represented by The Little Mermaid, which had a live-action remake this year. Ariel has many minifigures and mini-dolls but this iteration specifically resembles that of 71012 The Disney Series.
1990 – 1999
1990 to 1999 is included in
2000 – present
