Every LEGO set launching in October 2024 – Star Wars, Icons and more

The LEGO Group has now confirmed every LEGO set launching in October 2024, so here’s a round-up of everything coming our way next month.

10339 Santa’s Post Office and 40746 Santa’s Delivery Truck complete a surprisingly packed LEGO release window, which extends beyond October 1 and into the first few days of the month with 75397 Jabba’s Sail Barge. Those are some of the headline sets launching next month, but they definitely aren’t the only ones, as three new LEGO themes arrive on shelves for the first time.

LEGO Art October 2024 sets

Announced so long ago you’d be forgiven for forgetting it existed, the LEGO Art theme’s take on Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpiece is finally making its gallery debut on October 1. 31213 Mona Lisa has the unenviable task of recreating one of the most iconic faces in human history, but makes a very decent crack at it – and there are even two options for the eyes if you’re not feeling one of them. Bonus: this set boasts the most drum-lacquered gold pieces of any LEGO model to date…

LEGO Batman October 2024 sets

You know what we haven’t seen lately? A LEGO Batmobile. But no, really, we’ve never seen one like 76328 Batman: The Classic TV Series Batmobile, which blows up Adam West’s retro ride to a scale that fits neatly with the likes of 76139 1989 Batmobile and 76240 Batmobile Tumbler. It’s arguably one of the best-value sets of 2024 (let alone October 2024) at full price, too.

LEGO Fortnite October 2024 sets

Nearly a full year after the LEGO Fortnite game mode debuted, four physical LEGO Fortnite sets are dropping on to the battlefield (a phrase which here means going on sale at LEGO.com and in LEGO Stores). They’re anchored around the concept of ‘display play’ and cater to older fans who want a Fortnite-related build for their gaming space first and foremost, with the sole exception of the Battle Bus, which is all about those minifigures.

LEGO Icons October 2024 sets

A handful of festive LEGO sets dropped back in September, but the LEGO Group is cranking up the Christmas tunes, decorating the tree and knocking back the eggnog for real in October. Headlining the holiday season this year is 10339 Santa's Post Office, a whimsical addition to the North Pole side of the Winter Village, while Grown Up LEGO Fans can also choose between a pair of festive botanical sets for classier brick-built décor.

LEGO Ideas October 2024 sets

Thought the Disney 100 celebrations were done and dusted when the clock struck midnight on January 1? Think again: the LEGO Group is keeping the party going like your aunt who insists she’ll be 21 forever with 21352 Magic of Disney, a new LEGO Ideas set based on a winning competition entry from around this time last year. It’s packed with brand new Disney minifigures from across the studio’s storied history.

LEGO Minecraft October 2024 sets

Things are about to get even more depressing for Animal Crossing’s Julian, who’s still sadly celebrating his birthday solo while Baby Pig is apparently the life and soul of LEGO Minecraft. 21281 Baby Pig’s Birthday Celebration includes five brick-built pals for the littlest piggy, along with a blocky birthday cake for them to gather around and sing Happy Birthday. Look away now, Julian.

LEGO Seasonal October 2024 sets

It’s not only LEGO Icons that’s bringing the festive spirit to shelves in October, as 40746 Santa’s Delivery Truck is also racing into LEGO Stores post haste. It’s the perfect accompaniment to 10339 Santa’s Post Office given that set doesn’t otherwise include any means of actually delivering mail (only receiving and sorting it), and offers a slightly more realistic – if less environmentally-friendly – way of getting presents to kids than a sleigh.

LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog October 2024 sets

LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog’s first 18+ set (the Ideas set doesn’t count, because it’s an Ideas set, not a Sonic the Hedgehog set – them’s the rules) drops in October, and while 77000 Shadow the Hedgehog is giving real ‘giant Pez dispenser’ vibes, it still does a reasonable job of capturing some pretty difficult shapes in bricks. Plus, you can wave it around while doing Keanu impressions, and that sounds like a great Saturday night in to us.

LEGO Star Wars October 2024 sets

The biggest LEGO set sailing on to shelves in October is the first-ever UCS Khetanna, less formally known as 75397 Jabba’s Sail Barge. It’s arriving a few days after everything else, going on sale first to LEGO Insiders from October 3, followed by everyone else from October 6. Anyone buying it from October 3 to 10 will receive 40730 Luke Skywalker’s Lightsaber for free while stocks last.

Also debuting from a galaxy far, far away next month is the final LEGO Star Wars 25th anniversary minifigure in QT-KT, who you’ll find in the LEGO Store-exclusive 40755 Imperial Dropship vs. Rebel Scout Speeder, a retro remake of two classic battle packs. But is it the best LEGO Star Wars original trilogy army builder of 2024? Hmm…

LEGO Super Mario October 2024 sets

LEGO Super Mario’s 18+ sets are nothing if not diverse. First we got a giant retro TV and console, then a huge yellow cube that conceals a microscale world, then an even bigger buildable Bowser, and finally Nintendo’s sole contribution to the Botanical Collection. The latest pays tribute to Super Mario World with a two-dimensional piece of pixel art. Can’t wait to see what’s next. 

LEGO Wednesday October 2024 sets

The second of three brand new LEGO themes coming our way in October, LEGO Wednesday spins off Netflix’s Addams Family spin-off series Wednesday. (Do keep up.) The initial range spans a BrickHeadz duo, a buildable figure and a playset, ensuring there’s something for everyone in a spread of sets that skews a little older than traditional mini-doll themes.

LEGO Wicked October 2024 sets

Do you want to build a LEGO set? Sorry, hang on, wrong Idina Menzel franchise. This is LEGO Wicked, hooked to the upcoming live-action adaptation of the musical stage show, and the final of the three new LEGO themes for October 2024. Like Wednesday, this one leans into mini-dolls to recreate the movie’s characters, then supplements them with a couple of giant brick-built mini-dolls.
