Eight of the most heavily-anticipated LEGO 2025 sets

Eight of the most heavily-anticipated LEGO 2025 sets

Next year looks to be packed with heavily-anticipated LEGO sets, so here are our picks of the top eight models we can't wait to get our hands on in 2025.

With 2024 now drawing to a close, it’s time to gaze into our crystal ball and look ahead to see what next year has in store when it comes to LEGO releases. The good news is that there are plenty of new models arriving on January 1 and even more already scheduled to launch on March 1.

Beyond that, things start to get a little vague. While we do have multiple rumours regarding LEGO builds that may turn up throughout next summer and beyond, they all need to be taken with a large pinch of salt for now.

However, with that in mind, here are our picks of the top eight highly-anticipated LEGO models that have either been confirmed for 2025 or may potentially show up as next year unfolds.

8 – 76316 Galactus vs The Fantastic Four

Marvel’s First Family will finally join the MCU in 2025, with The Fantastic Four: First Steps scheduled to appear on big screens around the world on July 25. The most recent LEGO Marvel rumours suggest 76316 Galactus vs The Fantastic Four could arrive as early as April, with the set said to be directly based on the upcoming film.

If that proves to be the case, we’d potentially be looking at the first-ever minifigures of Mr. Fantastic, the Invisible Woman, the Human Torch and the Thing, as well as what could be a large-scale version of the World Devourer himself.

7 – 10354 Bag End

Another highly-anticipated rumoured LEGO set for 2025 may be the next in what's shaping up to be an annual Middle-earth release. Following on from 10316 The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell in 2023 and 10333 The Lord of the Rings: Barad-dûr in 2024 might potentially be the home of the Hobbits themselves, the Shire.

Although a third build based on The Lord of the Rings has yet to be officially confirmed, recent reports suggest we could be revisiting the location, last seen in brick form in 2012’s 79003 An Unexpected Gathering. Whether that means a model of the same size or something much grander to match the last two The Lord of the Rings sets is currently unknown.

6 – 10355 Blacktron Renegade

LEGO Icons 10355 Blacktron Renegade featured 1 1024x576

Officially revealed this week, 10355 Blacktron Renegade drops on January 1 for Insiders members, while everyone else can pick up the build from January 4. Coming in at 1,151-pieces, the LEGO Icons set will be priced at £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99 and offers up a modern take on two LEGO Classic Space sets from the ‘80s.

Fans of a certain age can relive their lost youth by building updated versions of 6876 Alienator and 6954 Renegade, complete with fresh upgrades, a modular design, three Blacktron minifigures and a small robot. The LEGO Icons release should also pair very well with a previous retro Space model, 10497 Galaxy Explorer. You fan find out more about 10355 Blacktron Renegade in our full review here.

5 – 76300 Arkham Asylum

While the majority of LEGO DC sets released over the past few years have primarily focused on Batman, the Batmobile and the Dark Knight’s villains, 2025 might bring something very different to the table. That would be the rumoured 76300 Arkham Asylum, reported to be a $400 D2C model that may arrive sometime next summer.

For that sort of price we’d be expecting a significant upgrade on 2017’s 70912 Arkham Asylum, complete with a much more detailed version of the facility and multiple interior locations. The LEGO DC build could also be the perfect showcase for numerous Batman minifigures, including many obscure villains such as the Mad Hatter, Ventriloquist, Maxie Zeus, Hugo Strange and more.

4 – 75409 Jango Fett’s Starship

If one thing is likely to be a sure-fire guarantee for 2025, it’s that a new LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series set will be released at some point over the next 12 months. However, next year might see two such candidates arriving, with the first rumoured to be 75409 Jango Fett’s Starship, which is said to be a €239.99 model that may launch on May 1.

While we could be looking at a straight colour-swapped version of the long-since retired 75060 Slave 1, we’re hoping that the potential UCS build will be even more accurate in terms of design, add more internal features, a new Jango Fett minifigure and a printed information plaque at least.

3 – 10350 Tudor Corner

LEGO Icons 10350 Tudor Corner featured 1 1024x576

The next LEGO Modular Buildings Collection addition arrives on January 1, with 10350 Tudor Corner being a 3,266-piece set priced at £199.99 / $229.99 / €229.99. Insiders who purchase the LEGO Icons model from that date to January 3 will also receive a free 40757 Corner Kiosk, while everyone else can grab the GWP from January 4 to 7 (while stocks last).

The biggest 32×32-stud modular building to date, 10350 Tudor Corner is a distinctly British build, one that includes an inn/pub, haberdashery, clockmaker’s workshop and an attic apartment to assemble. Throw in seven minifigures and a bonus mannequin and the LEGO Icons release will be one of the must-have sets of 2025. Be sure to check out of in-depth review of 10350 Tudor Corner here.

2 – 10352 Krusty Burger

If recent rumours are to be believed, then The Simpsons might well be returning in LEGO form next year. Sources suggest that 10352 Krusty Burger might be on its way in spring or summer of 2025 and is said to feature the same style of minifigure designs seen in previous sets and two Collectible Minifigure series. Apparently, fans can expect the likes of Krusty, Homer and Bart to be included in the set, plus Jeremy Freedman, also known as Squeaky Voiced Teen.

If 10352 Krusty Burger does indeed turn out to be a legitimate release, we could be looking at a €229.99 price tag, which would seem to hint at a fairly large-scale version of the fast food establishment. While we wait for more details to emerge, check out FastBrickStudios’ LEGO Ideas Krusty Burger submission for what the possible model might look like.

1 – 75419 Death Star

LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga Death Star 1024x576

The largest-ever LEGO set may drop out of hyperspace in 2025, with rumours of a $1,000 Death Star on the horizon. Potentially releasing as second UCS model next year, 75419 Death Star would be the first such iteration of the Empire’s fearsome battle station since 2016’s 75159 Death Star.

If that’s the case, then the LEGO Star Wars build would not only set a new benchmark for LEGO pricing, but it would also bring with it the most detailed version of the Death Star we’ve seen to date. In the meantime, be sure to check out our thoughts on what minifigures we’d like to see in the rumoured $1K build, six possible GWPs to go with 75419 Death Star and what we’d consider to be the non-negotiables of such a highly-anticipated model.
