With June 2026 marking the release of nearly 120 LEGO sets, an array of magnificent minifigures are arriving alongside them – here are eight to watch out for.
This summer wave features a mix of giant models and smaller sets, but no matter the size or price, many of the builds across a variety of themes come with new, exciting minifigures that might just push them from the ‘maybe’ pile to the ‘definitely’ pile.
Using Brick Search Plus means the maybes can go on the wishlist, ready to pounce when the price drops, and the definitely pile can be bought through the app and earn digital LEGO.com gift cards in the process.
You can see which sets are launching in June by clicking here. Read on to see eight of the best LEGO minifigures coming in those sets, all of which will be released at the start of next month.
Four LEGO minifigures to get June 1
Aragorn as King Elessar
Starting with the biggest set of the year so far, 11377 The Lord of the Rings: Minas Tirith comes with 10 minifigures (12 including statues), but none look as impressive as the first version of Aragorn as King Elessar.
The new hair and crown piece make this a magnificent minifigure, while the printing on the armour, arms and legs stands out as one of the set’s highlights.
Leviathan with an Axe
Like many LEGO Fortnite sets, 77080 Supply Drop includes a selection of brilliant minifigures. However, none shine brighter than Leviathan with an Axe.
The feet printing, angry fish face print, golden hands and fish-bowl head all tie this minifigure together, helping turn a fun little build into a standout set.
Ken Block
One of the most famous rally drivers of all time, Ken Block has now been immortalised in LEGO form. 77262 Ken Block's '65 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn V1 includes what might be the coolest minifigure in the best-priced set of the wave, costing £22.99 / $29.99 / €27.99.
The minifigure comes with a new face, hat and torso that all bring the extreme sportsman to life and match the build perfectly. The set also features an alternative helmet.
Puss in Boots
The only minifigure in 72423 Shrek, Donkey & Puss in Boots, Antonio Banderas’s famous animated character looks very accurate to his on-screen counterpart.
Though the scale feels off next to the buildable characters in the set, his custom-moulded head and hat, dual-moulded legs, black cloak and rapier all combine to make a great minifigure nonetheless.
Brick Search Plus also allows for convenient collection management, synced with Brickset, and members also get unlimited use of the minifigure box scanner, the minifigure checklist and minifigure stock checker, as well as full access to the LEGO archive of more than 10,000 sets.
The app is available to download for iOS devices from the App Store, or for Android devices at the Google Play Store.
LEGO minifigures going on the wishlist
Winter Soldier
From one major movie franchise to another, 76354 S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier’s revision of Bucky Barnes is one of the best versions we have seen.
With a new head, torso, legs and arms, the fan-favourite character also features our first arm-printed version since 76314 Captain America: Civil War Battle 10 years ago.
Iron Hulk
A smaller and less expensive LEGO Marvel set, 11211 Loki vs. Team Iron Man still features an incredible selection of minifigures. Iron Man, Ironheart and Loki all look great, but the real star of the show is the Iron Hulk minifigure.
Coming alongside a small mech, Iron Hulk features detailed helmet printing with a unique flick on the front. Perhaps this is one to pick up even if you are well over the 4+ range.
Pirate
31387 Iconic Pirate Ship features four pirate minifigures, but the captain stands above the rest. The 3-in-1 set features more than 1,000 pieces, and the peg-legged captain really takes it to the next level.
A detailed hat, great epaulettes and a pistol all help, but the standout detail is undoubtedly the different peg leg. The LEGO Group has used the idea many times before, but it never seems to get old.
Sponge Mascot
A new variation of the LEGO mascot minifigure rounds out the list of coolest minifigures arriving in this June wave in 60497 Drive-Through Car Wash.
With many multicoloured Brick Suit minifigures released before, they have become sought-after collector’s items for many fans.
This new lighter shade of blue sits hidden behind a bubble-printed piece, but underneath is that coveted torso element, making it one of the best minifigures to arrive this month.
