The LEGO Ideas team has once again thrown down the gauntlet to the LEGO community to design a new gift-with-purchase, but this time with almost zero restrictions.
While previous LEGO Ideas gift-with-purchase contests have been anchored to a particular theme – historical figures, seaside adventures, and so on – this latest challenge asks for your dream gift-with-purchase. Examples given include a miniature creature, charming character and whimsical vehicle, but the sky is effectively the limit.
There are a couple of caveats: your build must be original, so can’t include any references to third-party licences such as Star Wars or Harry Potter, and it must be comprised of between 150 and 250 pieces. The grand prize winner will not only see their submission turned into an official gift-with-purchase, but they’ll also receive a prize bundle consisting of 15 different LEGO sets.

You’ve got until April 24 at 11am BST to submit your entry. The judging panel will then select up to 15 entries to progress to the fan vote, which will run from April 30 to May 7.
