PSA: Check your emails for a free LEGO Micro NINJAGO City set

Selected LEGO Insiders members are apparently being emailed codes to claim a Micro NINJAGO City set for free at LEGO.com.

HUKD members are reporting receiving account-specific codes for one of four LEGO Micro NINJAGO City sets, which can be redeemed between September 25 and October 25 with purchases at LEGO.com. These codes are seemingly included in the LEGO Shop autumn newsletter, so it’s worth checking your emails to see if you’re on the list. At the time of writing, none of the Brick Fanatics staff have been so lucky.

40703 Micro NINJAGO City, 40704 Micro NINJAGO City Docks, 40705 Micro NINJAGO City Gardens and 40706 Micro NINJAGO City Markets were originally available in the Insiders Rewards Centre for between 2,300 and 2,700 points apiece, before being discounted to 1,800 points each. They were then bundled into a single reward for only 5,400 points.

It seems that still wasn’t enough of an incentive to clear out stock, as the LEGO Group is now giving them away instead. According to the small print republished on HUKD, the code is good for one set at random, so you can’t pick which one you receive. But as effectively a bonus gift-with-purchase on any order between now and October 25, it’s tough to complain… as long as you’ve received the code in the first place.

So, check your emails, check them again, and then sound off in the comments when you inevitably don’t have one. There’s nothing like shouting into the void to make you feel better on a Thursday morning.
