The latest rumours for LEGO Marvel range include a buildable Herbie set and a full wave of Avengers: Doomsday models before the film.
Another batch of LEGO Marvel rumours is here, this time with word of a buildable Herbie set. Instagram user carter_bricks04, via maniac67, reports that a set named Buildable Herbie is on the way, and will cost $59.99.
Herbie is the name of a character associated with the Fantastic Four, appearing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie The Fantastic Four: First Steps. The character's appearance in that film was inspired by vintage cameras with spinning eyes, a hexagonal head and a ball on the bottom of his body on which he rolled around.
The LEGO Group's only official depiction of the character from that film was seen in a poster last year, designed on a much smaller scale than a $59.99 set would be. LEGO Marvel's track record of buildable character sets has mostly focused on organic characters such as Rocket Raccoon and Groot, but Herbie's robotic nature would fit the nature of LEGO pieces more appropriately.
It's also rumoured that there will be a wave of sets in October for Avengers: Doomsday, consisting of five or six models. The next big Marvel movie is releasing on December 18, with a huge cast for the film confirmed last year. We've added these sets to our dedicated page for 2026 models, but they remain rumours at the time of writing and should be taken with caution.
