Instructions for each of the five LEGO sets in Series 5 of the BrickLink Designer Program are now available online for everyone – regardless of whether or not you placed any pre-orders.
BrickLink Designer Program Series 5’s sets are now arriving in the hands of backers, and as they do not include physical, printed instruction manuals, the LEGO Group has published the digital instructions for each model on BrickLink’s website. You can download the PDFs for each model directly from the Series 5 page, and you’ll also find them in the LEGO Builder app.
While those who have pre-ordered any of The Thieves of Tortuga, Antique Shop, Mushroom House, Adventure in Transylvania and Popcorn Wagon will need to access these instructions to build their sets, the rest of us can also download them free of charge. That’s good news if you’re interested in assembling any of them from your own parts collection, for example, or parting them out after the fact via BrickLink or Pick a Brick.
The instructions are also useful for discovering particular building techniques used across these five sets, or even simply as a starting point for building your own versions. Given these sets are no longer available to purchase through first-party channels (you’ll need to turn to the aftermarket to buy them new in box), piecing them together using your own collection and the instructions may be a more affordable alternative.
There are no printed or exclusive parts among them, either – they only use elements in production at the time of shipping – so all you’ll be missing out on are their sticker sheets and boxes.
