LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 2 set images and prices revealed

The LEGO Group has confirmed the prices for each of the new fan-designed LEGO sets in Series 2 of the BrickLink Designer Program.

The crowdfunding stage for Series 2 kicks off on June 6 at 4pm BST, with five different models available to pre-order. All sets that receive at least 3,000 pre-orders will enter production, with a maximum of 30,000 copies of each one up for grabs (and a limit of two per household). Crowdfunding will end on June 30, or once all sets have sold out, with orders shipping from November 2024.

While Series 1 featured at least one relatively affordable set, the Series 2 models start at £69.99 in the UK and top out at £229.99. These still feel like reasonable prices for the number of pieces included in each one, and they’ll be packaged in regular LEGO set boxes to boot. Mushroom House

This fantasy-inspired build plays with scale in all the right ways, and features a giant mushroom house, a snail and a gang of Forest Elves. The Ocean House

Price: £159.99 / $199.99 / €179.99 Pieces: 2,207 Designer: Harry Finkel

A steep jump in price and size takes us to Harry Finkel’s The Ocean House, which weighs in at 2,207 pieces. It’s a follow-up to The Mountain Windmill, which was available in an earlier version of the BrickLink Designer Program, and fits into a wider narrative Harry created for his sons.

Logging Railway

Price: £169.99 / $209.99 / €189.99 Pieces: 2,731 Designer: Ties van Asseldonk

Inspired by American logging railroads that were common in the late 1800s and early 1900s, Ties van Asseldonk’s Logging Railway comes in just north of The Ocean House at £169.99. The build takes advantage of the unusual proportions of trains in this era to offer something decidedly different for a LEGO locomotive.

Ominous Isle

Price: £189.99 / $239.99 / €219.99 Pieces: 2,809 Designer: Jared Le Cras

Whether you missed out on 21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay or are just looking to expand that shipwrecked set with something equally nautical, Pirates fans won’t want to miss out on Jared Le Cras’s Ominous Isle. It’s completely reconfigurable for endless play and display potential, and the skull at the centre is mechanised for quick access to its pirate base.

Brick Cross Train Station

Price: £229.99 / $279.99 / €259.99 Pieces: 3,050 Designer: Marcos Garavelli

Is your modular city missing a means for your minifigures to get around? You might want to consider splashing the cash for Marcos Garavelli’s Brick Cross Train Station when Series 2 crowdfunding starts in June. Built to the same standard and format as the LEGO Group’s own Modular Buildings Collection, the 3,050-piece model is packed with tiny details to bring it to life.
