BrickLink Designer Program Series 7 sets featured on online LEGO store

For the first time, the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 7 sets have been featured on the official online LEGO store.

The LEGO Group acquired BrickLink back in 2019, but the two entities have remained separate in many ways since then. However, one crossover has appeared for the BrickLink Designer Program Series 7, with the five sets appearing on the official online LEGO store for the first time.

There are no product listings on LEGO.com, with the 'Shop Now' button simply directing you to the BrickLink website, but it contextualises the fan-designed models alongside the official ones more closely. It also creates something of a confusing shopping experience if you find them on LEGO.com, as you'll need to go to BrickLink to learn more about the set, then be directed back to LEGO.com to check out if you choose to pre-order.

For the casual LEGO fan, it might help them to discover the BrickLink Designer Program if they don't already know about it. There's nothing to mark the sets out as different, other than the button directing you to the BrickLink website, cementing their place as part of the LEGO system along with the rest under the 'New' on the online LEGO store.
