Better images of LEGO 40586 Moving Truck – believed to be an upcoming gift-with-purchase – have surfaced through the building instructions portal.
Initially revealed by the product certification page yesterday, the full instructions for the model are now available at LEGO.com, giving us a full impression of everything it has to offer. That includes the eponymous vehicle, two minifigures, and an assortment of furniture to move, such as a piano, dresser, jukebox and painting.
Those accessories suggest narrative ties to this year’s LEGO modular building, 10312 Jazz Club. 40586 Moving Truck may therefore be intended as a companion model to that 2,899-piece set, though it already feels a bit late in the day for a thematic gift-with-purchase: those keen enough to buy the newest modular building at release will now miss out.
That’s if 40586 Moving Truck is only available with 10312 Jazz Club, of course, which feels unlikely: if it does materialise as a gift-with-purchase, there’s probably a pretty good chance that it will be free with orders across all themes (with a minimum spend), in the same vein as 10297 Boutique Hotel’s companion GWP 40532 Vintage Taxi.
Exactly when 40586 Moving Truck will be available is less certain at the moment too, but the latest LEGO gift-with-purchase – 40582 4x4 Off-Road Ambulance Rescue – runs until February 20, so it’s likely to be after that. The LEGO City freebie is available with all purchases above £95 / $100 / €100 while stocks last.
