Bad news: a LEGO NINJAGO summer 2026 price was incorrect

The full line-up of LEGO NINJAGO summer 2026 sets has been revealed, but a price in the press release was unfortunately incorrect.

In our original reveal report for the three new NINJAGO Legends, it was reported that 71870 The Twin Titan Mechs would cost £79.99 / $99.99 / €99.99, as stated directly in the press release. We couched that information with speculation that the press release may be wrong, as such a price tag seems far too good to be true.

Unfortunately, we were correct. After 71870 The Twin Titan Mechs went live on LEGO.com, we were quick to check the price out of curiosity, discovering that it is instead going to cost £129.99 / $139.99 / €139.99.

That's a £50 / €40 / €40 price increase over what was originally stated, and it's not clear why the press release was so inaccurate. You're still getting 1,707 pieces for that price, including two mechs, three minifigures and two alternate heads. It's just not as great a deal as we were originally led to believe.

It means that 71871 Battle at the Dragon's Blade is now the most affordable of the new Legends models at £79.99 / $99.99 / €89.99, and both builds will be released on June 1, 2026. US fans can build these and the rest of the summer NINJAGO sets from August 1 instead.
