Artemis II launch causes back orders on LEGO Space sets

The launch of NASA's Artemis II mission earlier this month has seemingly caused worldwide back orders on both of the mission's LEGO sets.

The Artemis II mission finally launched on April 1, and the crew is now on their way back home. The LEGO Group pre-emptively commemorated the mission with two Artemis models across Technic and Icons, based on the first mission. These would be 10341 NASA Artemis Space Launch System and 42221 NASA Artemis Space Launch System Rocket.

Anyone hoping to pick up either of these sets directly from LEGO.com is out of luck currently, though, as both sets are on back order around the world. 10341 NASA Artemis Space Launch System is on back order until April 15 in the UK, for 60 days in the US, and until April 10 in the UK.

42221 NASA Artemis Space Launch System Rocket is even more popular, on back order until May 11 in the UK, April 25 in the US, and it is not on back order at all in Europe.

Those in the UK don't have to give up hope just yet, though. 42221 NASA Artemis Space Launch System Rocket is 20% off on Amazon and in stock. 10341 NASA Artemis Space Launch System Rocket is not discounted, but it is in stock.
